I am not interested in who I was, I am interested in who I am . . .
. . . but if you are interested in who I was, I will simply say that my life has been unique and I have had my own set of problems like everyone else.
I have been through moments of pride, moments of achievement, moments of success and moments of feeling and being well. I have also been through moments of shame, disappointment, failure and feeling and being ill.
I have been interested in philosophy for years now, despite having no qualifications in the subject. I have also loved music, computer games, and generally the internet and computers.
I have been interested in etymology, phenomenology, epistemology, ontology and metaphysics. I have been interested in language, logic, probability, texas hold 'em poker.
I have been interested in how beautiful some women and ladies really are and how much I er, "like" them.
I have never had a sexual relationship with anyone.
I have, as far as I can remember, attempted to understand and feel compassion for the human psyche behind absolutely everyone, no exceptions and despite my huge disagreement with Christianity, I have agreed with Christians who believe forgiveness is a very high value, even if I have agreed with almost nothing else when I talk to them. I have never believe that that means we should be "soft" on people. But I also have not believed in unnecessary retribution, for me it's been about dealing with problematic behavior, not punishing problematic people: Unless that helps deal with the problematic behavior. But then that's not vengeful retribution, that's problem-focused justifiable "punishment".
As for now, in my current opinion, life is a fascinating adventure and most problems are made worse when we ourselves make them worse than they need to be by trying to solve them when we're not yet ready to do so. There are answers, but nearly ready and nearly there is not ready and not there. Patience.
And by the way, people can both be true to them selves and also change for the better. Being yourself is about accepting your personality, changing requires not stereotyping yourself, letting go and reaching your higher potential. And don't worry about "improvement" too much and become a perfectionist, you are not something to be "fixed", you are more like a tree that needs to branch out and grow whilst also knowing its limits, if you get in the way, you may be cut down.
