Trump now tied with Clition nationally according to Real Clear Poltics average

RE: Trump now tied with Clition nationally according to Real Clear Poltics average
Yeah and they carry out illegal assignations with drones, completely bypassing due process (that pesky court system, where there's a presumption of innocence, the right to due process is also a basic human right under UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights).

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

When the UK uses drones it's like they've reinstated the death penalty. They kill these people without any due process. And then they wonder why acts of terrorism are continuing to increase and the world is a less safe place. They just don't get it. It's like they see these "brown people" as lesser humans who don't deserve the same rights as Westerners.

I think you nailed it with "it's like they've reinstated the death penalty". Yes people can be killed during combat, but they can also be captured and taken in. Drones just kill, just perform assassinations. I'm not saying they shouldn't be used at all mind you, just not for assassination. They could still be used to protect military bases for example.

North Korea); look at how the USA treats their neighbours such as Cuba! China doesn't go around instigating war and creating instability in the middle-east, and supporting Israel which leads to displaced peoples, economic and social stagnation, and of course the rise of extremist groups to replace the dispelled regimes.

The USA has just as many human rights abuses. The UN has found that their prisons routinely breach the Convention on torture (and specifically holding people in solitary confinement), and they're still the only developed country in the world not committed to providing equal access to healthcare; which is a key principle under the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Articles 21.2, 25).

No, the USA does not have just as many human rights abuses.  I'm sure you'd like to think so given your anti-US rhetoric.  Yes, there are human rights abuses by the US.  I'm not going to deny that.  There's not nearly as many as there are by China.  Do you have a fucking clue what goes on in China?  Or the US for that matter?

There is no freedom of expression in China.  They still imprison people who speak about politically sensitive subjects including domestic violence.  The internet is censored.  Torture goes on in their prisons too, but I'm sure you'll ignore that because it's inconvenient for you.  They still have forced-abortions, so women's reproductive rights are practically non-existent.  Lesbians and Gays still don't have the right to get married.

You wanna talk Death Penalty?  China has more executions than every other country combined.  People with disabilities face heavy discrimination. So no, the US does not have just as many human rights violations. No, we don't offer universal healthcare yet. And yes, we've tortured detainees. We still have solitary confinement. But we're still not fucking China. So get the fuck out of here with that.

Yes, certain politicians in the US should be charged with war crimes and their healthcare sucks. No disagreement here. But trying to compare the US to China in terms of human rights abuses or whatever is just fucking stupid.

Come on guys...

How many countries has China bombed since 9/11 and how many has the United States? Obama is currently bombing Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Iraq, Syria and the Yemen but the terrorist threat refuses to go away. Why? Could it be that the United States foreign policy is a failure and many more millions hate the United States more than China?

COINTELPRO (the people responsible for sending the Suicide Letter to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) is the very KGB-esque, and this went on in the United States. The United States can be as bad as China. E.g. the blatant misuse of Civil Asset Forfeiture legislation. It has done and will continue to show that it can be even worse. Let's remember, of course, that the Patriot Act, which Hilary Clinton voted in favour of, violates the 4th Amendment (which apparently has never been taken all that seriously). The United States does similar things to China but the mainstream media doesn't like to talk about it.

I can't claim to speak for the child who has just lost a family member or a doctor in a destroyed hospital because of a drone strike targeting civilians, but many people seem to think the 3rd world should just accept the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to them. United States is "not as bad as China" so let's continue to marginalise people in the Middle East. I don't want millions of homeless refugees on my doorstep so the supporting of terrorists because the end justices the means and the constant drone strikes has to stop. Yet some people have no sympathy for the victims of imperialism.

Which country has done more wrong? I personally think, given it's shortly to be bigger population, India will become more powerful than China at some point. But let's not get sidetracked on that. The point is, the United States government is full of hypocrites.

China has done more wrong.  Just look at what they fucking did to their own people in Tiananmen Square.  Their record on human rights is downright atrocious.   And Russia isn't any goddamn better.

America's record on human rights is 100 times worse than China's and there are pictures to prove it.  We just have better propaganda than they do.

The beatings will continue until the enemy stops fighting.  So when they stop fighting the drone strikes will end.

In war you don't go to court to get approval before a Soldier shoots an enemy Soldier in the trees.  We are at war.  The people getting whacked by drone missiles are our enemies.  We will kill them whenever or wherever we see them by any means at our disposal.  When they stop fighting the drone strikes will end.  Until then they can expect a Hellfire missile.

So what? How does that compare with overthrowing ruling governments in sovereign nation-states and supporting Israel to oppress the Palestinians in their land causing international turmoil, resulting in people dying and fleeing from their lands as refuges, and enforcing a trade embargo against one of their closest neighbours?

And besides that's not a fair comparison, a fair comparison is to compare America with other Western nation-states, and compare China to other Eastern nation-states. When you do that guess where each one comes out?
