RE: Proposed: A common definition for "True Christian"
That Jesus, takes after his daddy, don't He ?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Or would I be less Christ-like in withering a fig tree ??
I think that you are missing the context, but that type of argument makes me more confident rather than less.

More Christ like if I remained married to my first spouse and eschewed divorcing her and marrying another as per His teachings, or, instead going ahead with the divorce and and then subsequent remarriage with the fore knowledge I can claim to seeing His Light later afterwards and still be assured Salvation ?

Which scenario evinces a more sincere form of True Christianity ??

Well as I said, It's not what was taught by Jesus and the supporting writings, so it's kind of self defeating.

A liberal is someone who see's the cup as half filled. A conservative is someone who says "Who' been drinking out of my cup"

Proceed!

A conservative is someone who says I have want I need, how can I stop others getting what they need?

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
