That's what the lion was doing.  Do you think a lion jumped through someone's window because it was hungry?  This may surprise you, but there are many sources out there that talk about this.  I read a couple after reading what the link you shared.  It's not that I was wrong.  It's just that you read one thing and believed that was the end all on that lion, when it wasn't.  In fact, was reading about various reasons that a lion may attack a human.  For example, since they often hunt big game, it's not uncommon for them to injure their jaw trying to bring something down.  At that point, it goes from "normal prey" to "selective prey" because they can't go after the bigger animals anymore.  Simply out of necessity.  Not because they thought people looked tasty.

I'm sure if your cat was big enough to kill and eat you, it would. We love to see our kitties as cuddly little buddies who we force kisses and hugs on, but they're really little killers. Except my cat, I don't think she has enough energy to kill anything but a bowl of kitty munch.
