Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Don't knock it until you've tried it. Bacon is meat candy.
We have pastırma, which is superior. And its made of superior meat, too. Although I should say, each to his own.
I generally don't eat much meat in general, other than canned fish.

One of my friends makes bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed peppers. I don't like peppers myself, too sweet and just an all around funky taste (also not big on spice either), but they're ok.
Next time he makes them I'll try and get a picture.
The peppers are assembled and then grilled, by the way. Nice crispy bacon.
And also, why isn't there a food category? We all need it, I hope most of us like it.

The Mexican population here in Southern California (maybe mostly L.A., I dunno) likes to bacon-wrap hot dogs. Sounds good, but unfortunately grease is hard on me.
But, I do like pizza, and bacon is a great topping for it.
Also, Harvey Milk's Diner down the street sells bacon waffles. Never had bacon-battered waffles.

We make "armadillo eggs." You take jalapenos, slice them lengthwise, remove seeds, put in some cream cheese, add a little smoky sausage, then wrap with bacon and bake in oven until the bacon is done.
Man I can eat a shitload of those. Going to have to make some more soon.
Bippity boppity bacon!

Yeah, bacon wrapped dogs are a thing around here.
Stuffed banana peppers and jalapeños are delish! You can stuff them with cheese and shrimp and wrap them in bacon.

If I were to import genuine pastırma to the US, none of you would eat that bacon.
