I just like the philosophy of Scientology. I only adopted the term to demonstrate to others that we as humans should defer to science and reason in gaining control of our negative emotions.

Seth Andrews of the Thinking Atheist podcast had his good friend Lucien from TST on recently who said they they turn down several offers each day from people who want to do shows and films on them. If they were attention whores they would be accepting them instead of turning them down every single day. But they are busy doing important things in the world.  I fully appreciate groups like them and the Freedom From Religion Foundation and others who embrace things I embrace like rationality and fighting against superstition and other nonsense
