Biden's first Presidential adress.
After 4 years of the bombastic jackass former guy, Biden's sausage making detailed boring, but reality based facts is 100% refreshing.

And to see two women sitting behind him was the best part of it. Someday America will finally say "Madam President".

how do you discern fact?

to you are facts and truth the same thing?

if you were born in china and brought up in that society, would you still view biden's points as 'fact/truth'?

if you are smart enough to see regional influence plays heavily on political 'facts.' Then how can you say only biden holds the only true facts for this country?

people who can only see merit in their specific brand of politics and those leaders are indoctrinated boarder line fascists.  Meaning they would follow their political ideology blindly so long as it was being packaged as truth/fact by where ever they source their true facts.. like the news media and or a regimated but controllable field of study like science. look at how 1930's Germany did this very same thing. they used news media to imbed propaganda and science to demonize undesirable people. my point here is, if you do not have a set of checks an balances outside of the news media, then when history catches up to you, you will be one who's only excuse will be " I was just following orders." And, you can tell if you are going to be that sort of person if again you can find no redeemable quality in those who oppose you politically.

I haven’t seen the whole thing. I’ve watched a few highlights, and it seemed like a good speech - pro-democracy, anti-authoritarian, and some very ambitious proposals.

I found it rather touching that he thanked Mitch McConnell for suggesting that a cancer research bill be named for Biden’s son.

I think Biden is simply a decent man.  That's refreshing.

RE: Biden's first Presidential adress.
Quote:President Joe Biden’s Wednesday night address to Congress was a dishonest disaster, full of partisan lies from a career politician who has spent nearly half a century in office.

Biden alternated between avoiding his failures in office and misrepresenting the truth about his radical policy proposals. Meanwhile, Senator Tim Scott offered an uplifting, unifying vision for our country’s future that spoke to our exceptional nation’s bright future.

Biden attempted to tout his infrastructure plan as a feel-good, no-strings-attached free lunch for the American people. That is fundamentally untrue.

In fact, only 7 percent of his $2 trillion "infrastructure plan" actually goes towards airports, roads, bridges, and ports. Much of the rest goes towards fulfilling Biden’s socialist wish list.

This plan is a $2 trillion tax hike that would destroy jobs and shrink our economy, and it couldn’t come at a worse time. We are turning the corner in the fight against COVID-19, thanks to job-saving Republican-led Paycheck Protection Program loans and President Trump’s historic "Operation Warp Speed" vaccine development program. Businesses and families have suffered under lockdowns for months. Biden and the Democrats want to destroy our economy’s return to normalcy.

Biden also touted his $1.9 trillion stimulus, which is another Trojan Horse for the radical left’s agenda. Whereas only 7 percent of his infrastructure bill goes towards typical infrastructure, only 9 percent of his $1.9 trillion COVID bill goes towards to directly fighting the coronavirus.

What a narrow view of infrastructure.

Americans shouldn’t really care if the infrastructure plan also helps fund fairy wands and sparkly garters for the police.

He is and it is. Kind of unnerving, though, that McConnell did that. Maybe he’s trying to convince people that he’s a member of their species.
