Me too. Best for last. But not at Thanksgiving. I go straight for the turkey.

Bowls are the best, it's all mixed in there together.

Of on a little side road here...

A brother-in-law not only ate everything separately but nothing could touch anything else.  I didn't know that the first time he and his SO came over for a meal.  Apparently he nearly had a panic attack because I didn't know to provide a separate plate or bowl for each food item.  Thought that was a pretty weird quirk.

Yeah, I know some people like that, too.  My sister when she was a kid.  I'm actually not ADD about it at all; I just start eating one thing and don't stop until it's gone, then I move on to the next.  Fist time someone pointed it out I was actually surprised because I hadn't even noticed.  I think my mind is stuck in survival mode or something dumb like that.

I love curry - truly, madly, deeply. If I have it for breakfast or lunch, however, it messes with my head and day somewhat. Curry, the best, must be had for the evening meal, the last meal of the day.

You cant say that.

I hate anchovies. But if someone says they like them, all I can chalk it up to is taste. I hate olives. Again, not my thing. But other people like olives on pizza.

I love pineapple on pizza, especially with onions and Canadian ham and banana peppers. And by "Canadian ham" I don't mean the dog kibble chunk squares, but the round "peperoni" ham circles.

This may lead to another thread...the stuffing or dressing debate.

At a very young age my mom instilled upon me that the fork went to the left of the plate and knife and spoon went to the right of the plate. And that wasn't including the salad fork, or desert spoons, or the finger bowls you see in movies about rich people.

Oh good - my daily WTF moment.

WTF? Huh?

The post was about preferences. That can apply to just about anything.

Eating out, or cooking at home, fork on the left, no difference. Some people like ABBA, most people don't.

Read the first post. It's about 'do you do certain things first or last'.

At no point is the placement of flatware brought up.

Sometimes I will pick apart a sandwich instead of eating it as a whole. I'll eat the veggies first, then the meat, then the cheese, and save the bread for last.
