Never did understand the "My team won x" sort of thing... when I watch people play in a tournament I am doing so to witness a battle of skill. I may prefer one side's style to the others... but at the end of the day it's about observing excellence.

Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

The Iditarod is often won by alaskans. One of the victors is a neighbor, infact... and I happen to have met and know several on the Kenai Peninsula.

Alaska isn't so much incapable of sports... as it doesn't have them.

I am very attached to my state. Well, at least my area. New England is definitely my home. We just also happen to have very good teams in several sports and we're excited about it. Smile
