Skyrim Countdown

Skyrim Countdown
Only sixteen days away from Skyrim, and I'll be counting down the release. That's the day I forget about my life, and go (mods willing) god slaying. Talos, meet the sword!

My wife is preparing for my absence until at least 2012. The last game I anticipated this much was Zelda 64.

Prepare for a giant let down... I have a gut feeling that Skyrim is going to bomb. MARK MY WORDS!

It will never match the power and might of Farmville! Devil

RE: Skyrim Countdown
I don't know how long I've been waiting for Skyrim now. Well probably since Oblivion was released Big Grin On the day it is released I will only exist in the realm of Skyrim; why would anyone choose real life over the land with the dragons?! They must be insane!

What do you mean god-slaying? It is (almost) impossible to kill the Divine. Hell, it's hard enough to kill a freaking Daedric Prince.

The only thing that I worry about in Skyrim is the dragons... That's the easiest thing for them to implement poorly, and I think it likely they'll fail. But even then, it is still an awesome game everywhere else, so I'm willing to overlook it Smile

That's why I added the 'mods willing' part. *evil grin*
Also, 15 days.

RE: Skyrim Countdown
I'm waiting in eager anticipation. I got a ton of play out of Oblivion, and even to this day, I'm still playing Morrowind.

This will be one of the few games I'll buy on release day rather than waiting for it to hit the bargain bin.

RE: Skyrim Countdown
Last week I bought oblivion. I had never played the elder scrolls even though I loved Bethesda but I bought it because I'm excited for skyrim. Long story short, I hated it. So I'm kinda worried now.
If I die and god is real, im so screwed.
