Poor people aren't buying draconian IP & Copyright legislation such as the DMCA, COICA & the upcoming ACTA Treaties. So there is one huge, glaring example for you.

All in all, I do think having Ron Paul head the Senate Finance Committee would be a good thing. Aside from his views on abortion & the environment, which are partly due to his career, faith & State he represents, he has a decent voting record & he actually seems like an honorable man, a rare thing in politics.
