Assuming you take the stance that objective morality does not exist -- in other words, morality is subjective -- what was wrong with Hitler's actions?
I don't see how you can say Hitler was wrong, since it is your opinion against Hitler's.
Hitler and the Nazis actions were wrong due to the prevailing morality in Twentieth Century Western society. If he'd committed these crimes in ancient more religious times he would not be seen to have been doing much wrong. The killing of jews was standard procedure in the middle ages. We English were early pioneers in this. Jews only returned to England with the ascent of Oliver Cromwell.
The issue here is that christian revisionists have claimed again and again that hitler was an atheist and it just isn't true, he was plainly a catholic. I wouldn't hold all Christians responsible for his actions, but the problem here is that Christians have not only made the false claim hitler was an atheist but also that he is indicative of our behavior, and both statements are not only the exact opposite of the truth, they are no less than hate filled lies. but as if that weren't enough, they go on to make the false claim that every dictator in history was an atheist to promote the idea that every member of this tiny minority is just horribly evil and it just isn't so, obviously.
Atheism ironically represents one of the smallest and least spoken for religious minorities in the country and world, and these false statements Christians keep making to claim all the most evil people in history were atheist are clearly intended solely to spread sheer, blind, irrational hatred for this incredibly small minority that i just happen to be a member of. and this is being done solely because a handful of religious leaders are afraid they might loose their gravy train because we convince people not to believe in their god, and thus not to go to their churches and donate them money for doing little or nothing.
do you understand?
