Can't be a whistleblower if you do not have evidence, or any pertinent first hand information. Everything this person had to say was hears say 3rd party at best. They got all of the facts wrong! That is why the state department dismissed them and would not allow their false allegations to go forward.
that is why trump released the tapes of the conversation which now had polsi say they do not even need the whistle blower. (because none of the allegations where try which is what the justice department discovered months ago.
So yeah, if the whistleblower is a fraud than it is on the department of justice to determine that and to act accordingly. Which is Exactly what happened.
