I'm not sure what you expected OLB.  People didn't want to pay taxes to fix the roads, therefore there was no money to fix the roads.  Pavement millers don't run on wishes.  She settled for fixing your shitty highways without a tax increase.

I'm going to say even if Govenoer Whitmer turned Michigan into a paradise on Earth with the USA's strongest economy, best schools, least crime, most fair distribution of income, most robust health system &c. olb would still castigate her for doing everything wrong.
