Actually, a lot can be done to address the drug problem in the US, primarily collapse the demand. Claw back the obscene billions give to ICE and the money being used to blow up boats and open a fuck ton of addiction treatment centres.

Or Trump could pardon a guy convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into the U.S.
Quote:President Donald Trump said Friday that he will be pardoning former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, who in 2024 was convicted for drug trafficking and weapons charges and sentenced to 45 years in prison.
The president explained his decision on social media by posting that "according to many people that I greatly respect," Hernandez was "treated very harshly and unfairly."
In March of last year, Hernandez was convicted in U.S. court of conspiring to import cocaine into the U.S.A.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
