Here's what you can do: get a lawyer. If you don't have the money, go to your local ACLU or People for the Awmerican Way chapter and see if they have one to help pro bono. This seems like religious discrimination, but the fact that you are a caregiver provides an added twist (my son's mom did that fo a long time and you do have to tolerate the patients deisres and regard his or her well-being first). Anyway, get a lawyer and start squaring up for a knock-down drag-out -- it looks like one is coming your way.

And while you're at it, freshen up your resume and if possible get out before they become a negative reference.
