You seem to be under the impression that when the Quran was written people were morons. This is not true.
If technical predictions are important to you then perhaps I can recommend the religion of Pythagoreanism. A religion based on the mathematical, astronomy and even a dash of music of Pythagoras. Which is so detailed, precise and accurate and not at all shrouded in colourful non-descriptive language that can be misinterpreted as any old garbage, (exactly like what you just posted) we still use his theorem today because it is still as effective and potent as when it was written, and no one needs to convince anyone because it is evident to anyone with a modicum of intellect how bloody amazingly great it is.
Only a modern-day moron would be taken in by vague fluff and nonsense... surely?

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
