12 is the # of government and eleven the number of disorder/destruction and is sacred in the occult.
Thinking about the glee expressed (seemingly across the board here) the thought came to me:
"AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF LOT...... So shall it be when the Son of Man comes" -- check
