Non Traditional Medicine

I just read that a lot of things in our body are controlled or affected by the bacteria in our gut. It read that things such as depression, anxiety and schizophrenia could be reduced our cured, made me want to know more.

I have googled a lot about the good bacteria that is responsible for things like stress and depression, but I know I am missing a ton of information.

Christians aren't really into alternative medicine. I have a few friends that are traditional doctors, but I have lost touch with them because of my awful departure from their faith and I am not sure if they would scoff at me for even trying something like this

Last December, I switched to being a vegetarian. I have felt a lot better for it. I am sure there is more than just that. If anyone has any ideas our experiences I sure would like to hear them
