Oh give it a break. What the hell difference does it make whether a person thinks the harm is objective because some sky fairy had it written in a book under the "don'ts" heading? Smug xtians like you make a much bigger deal about the righteousness you feel entitled to by standing behind your big invisible friend, than you ever do about people's actual behavior. You may be morally retarded.
So...so much wrong here... You clearly do not understand my position or the moral argument. The question is, do you care , or do you just want to cause harm your interlocutors character to divert from a poor worldview and lack of thinking. I'm not being smug, and I don't feel any entitlement. And the discussion doesn't have anything to do with whether a particular group or person is more moral than another.
Frankly given the above, it would seem that your assessment is either one of ignorance, or childish name calling in the place of intelligent discussion.

For anyone who finds this type of view compelling, I think you need to ask these questions for yourself. Where is the harm?
Doing quite well at avoiding them and trying to shift the burden on me as well.
Quote:Quote:If you are saying that it is an emotional / psychological harm, then would would someones subjective offense justify and equal return of force as the OP?Subjective experience of harm is not a comment on the objective nature of harm as an act or event. We all understand that people are subjectively experiencing harm regardless of whether or not that harm is, itself, subjective or objective. Whether it is harm only in opinion, or in reality. Is it just an opinion that sex crime is harmful, or is it...in reality, harmful? If you changed your opinion of sex crime (or I changed mine)..would anything about the effects of sex crime change?
You're welcome.
How does this apply to the video in question? I still waiting for you to point out where the objective harm is, as well as what you mean by objective (as it doesn't appear to match the normal definitions).
Quote:Quote: Is physical harm justified, because I am offended by your ideas?Oh, is that what sex crime is, when someone offends someone else with their "ideas"? That fine young person offended that punchy bitch with an idea?
I wasn't making any such statement or really any statement at all. I was asking a related question. Do you think one can be violated or abused by what someone says?
