If there's suspicious circumstances behind those cases, all 59 of them, maybe he could be innocent (not terribly likely), but, at least in this case, Occam's Razor would suggest that he actually is.
If you still want to be able to enjoy his work knowing that he was ultimately an execrable human being, well, there's nothing stopping you. My favourite film of the 1960s is a little British film called Repulsion: it's the story of a woman dealing with monsters from her past (specifically childhood sexual abuse) and losing her mind at the worst possible time. It's one of the few films of the period that dwelled upon the long-term consequences of sexual assault (in childhood, no less), and it was written and directed by someone who, 12 years later, (and possibly earlier), subjected a girl of 13 to more or less the same exact thing the protagonist of that movie went through in her childhood. Does this make it any worse a piece of art? No. It's technically magnificent, especially for a glorified exploitation film, the themes resonate to this day, and Catherine Deneuve's performance is probably the female performance that I've identified with the most of all the many I've watched.
The bottom line is people are deeply flawed, and often in worse ways than you could possibly imagine. And they can still create works that touch the soul in ways most works don't.
