So yeah, this is real experience, I don't think it's a demon personally, could be a number of things, but my step-dad called it a demon.
So before I moved about a year ago, I lived in this old farm house, it used to be a log cabin still they expanded on it. The land used to stretch for mile,s until, after their dairy farm I think ran out, the owner sold portions of it to pay of debt. The house was rather beautiful, albeit falling apart like mad and the roof about the cave in from the living room because I think hillbillies made the upper floor, it had two floors, not including the attic which was sealed off due to bees making nests up there as well as birds. The hard was about two trailers wide int he front and one trailer wide around the sides and back, this doe snot include the long curved driveway and barn up on the small hill. It also had a roofed front porch and covered backpacker, so it was your typical southern family home.
This house never did feel home to me when I was outside in the large yard, the front was fine, but it was the left side of the house that was a bit iffy to me. This was the side of the house that his large, toddler sized stone that was flat on top and smoothed out. Had been there a while, even before the house was build due to the paint on it. My step-dad seems convinced someone was buried underneath that rock, and stuff was buried around it as we found when we were digging up out pipe line.
But, like typical southern family house, this house had large windows so you could take in the sunlight, like old window glass type of windows. That thick glass that people use to use to see if their diamonds were real. During the day it was alright, at night I always go the feeling something was following me from window to window as I made my way back to the main entrance hall to get upstairs. The final window was the large one that circle the door and stopped on both sides at your waist. And I sear when I walked up the steps it felt like someone was glaring at me through the window.
There was also the fact that when out there at night, if you were alone, from the left side of the house you could hear a human growl clear as day and felt uneasy near that side. This was also true on the back porch as it felt like something didn't want you there. We also always caught a shadow person in our yard, when we would go to chase him, as my step-dad is a veteran with a gun and my late grandfather loved to clean his guns, we'd find there was no one. They'd hop over the fence but when we'd shine flashlights there, mind you there was on place to hid in these short grass fields, there was no one.
I'd also often hear my name being called when no one was there at the house or no one spoke. It was clear as day and sounded like my mom. But when I go to check, she'd have the TV on and didn't call for me at all. My mom, being the heavy Evangelical she was, denied our house being haunted due to the simple reason it was 'blessed', not formally thought, she proclaimed it was due to her and my grandfathers praying for it to be blessed. I don't think that's how ti works...
My step dad however, who says he can sense ghosts, claimed to be she was full of shit as he's heard growling and felt something evil in the yard. He never told me this when living there, it was only after we moved did he tell me his experiences.
Since moving, I haven't once heard my name being called by no one, no creepy feeling when walking by windows at night, and no growling when I'm outside on the porch. Now all I'm scared of is stepping on a spider or splinter due to how old the porch wood is.
Most of these could be explained I guess, as kids always have an active imagination. But, it was too real for me. I've had other experiences besides these, but the ones I told you are the biggest. I hated the yard at that house, and wouldn't stay out there by myself, and hated sleeping in tents out there during family reunions.
Not sure what it could be, than again I could just be crazy. Thoughts?
