It sounds silly but that's the point in a way.

Evangelical Christians are always attacking the First Amendment principle of separation of church and state in the USA constitution. An effective way to fight back is to give in to them and allow the government to get involved in religion. But what religion? They cannot promote one over the other so Satanists and Pastafarians get involved.
