I applaud your empathy and concern for others but your understanding of economics leaves something to be desired.
Businesses need to make money to be viable. They can't do that if they pay the employees a wage higher than the worth of an employee's work.
Yes, I do. And you think that’s all they do? You think that’s an easy job? Why don’t you go do it? And why do you think that some people don’t deserve to be able to live off of the work that they do? If they’re working full time, and working hard at the job, why are they less deserving of meeting the basic needs of human life?
