I have taken two too many psychology classes to believe in "personal experience," or what William Lane Craig calls that "software inner voice."  Fantasy prone personality disorder is a spectrum, and as two-thirds of schizophrenics are never diagnosed, how do you know that you are not deluding yourself??
well that's not true at all is it? or do you not have enough self awareness to see your whole OP is based on thomas pain's 'personal experience' of paul. he even says: "2) Most importantly, and never considered by yours truly; assuming, for the moment, that the story of "the 500" was true, such "evidence" was, at the time, not sufficient to convert Paul to Christianity." This assumption is based on what pain thought of paul's psyche base on the writings he had experienced.

So again don't say you do not accept personal experience as a teacher as you blindly take the word of a man who built a phycological profile on writings not privy to the average church goer. meaning material not been vetted by the church. all because it tickles your ears and makes paul of the bible more agreeable to a picture of him you think you can use in later argument.

you simply to refuse personal testimony when it suits you to do so. you will not hear my first hand account because it does not support your preconceived notions about god.

but that is not what i was sharing...

I said proof of God via whatever method you need if offered to you, if you seek him out on his terms.

so you need not believe my first hand account when one is offered to you specifically.

if you met up with God, would you believe that? Because that is what is offered.
Quote: Besides, many Muslims and thousands of other different religions will cite "personal experience" as evidence of their beliefs.  Why should I believe you and not them?
that's the thing sport. if you studied the religion, they can't claim personal experience with God, unless they claim to be an equal of mo-ham-Ed. as their version of God only speaks through prophets. in fact no other religion, not even roman Catholicism, offers one on one time with God.
