Why? What have we done? I could assume every Christian is a vile dirty, corrupt, blind piece of work. But what do I have to base that on? Nothing, because I know not all Christians are vile, nor dirty or blind. So what reason to assume that atheists are all evil? Must have a good reason for it.
My entire family are atheists, so is most I know in the town I'm in. The most secular of places would be Sweden. 85% non-religious population.
Quote:I lived there for eight years (1982-1990), and I don't think I ever met one atheist. You would of bumped into dozens of atheists, it's just that you are simply unaware of their atheism. I worked with a crazy Scotsman for months, only to learn he as well as every worker I was with were all atheists too. So's my neighbours, most of my teachers and many others. I find it hard to believe you've never encountered one.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
