Atheism is not a cause for which you should put yourself at risk. Praying is not betraying non-belief. You blaspheme
nothing by pretending to pray.

Should you pretend forever? Forever is a long time. Wait until you are grown-up then decide what to risk.

Take care of yourself. You worry the Mom in me.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
