I sincerely wonder if you know, there are only two reasons for getting things wrong. Being misled or misleading. Ask yourself, might you be one or both - philosophical as that might seem.
Are you in possession of full knowledge on topic X, or good enough to allow for acting on it, truly? Might the evidence be faulty or incomplete? Are there biases at work?
Ask yourself these things. You might benefit from being reminded of such methods every once in a while, especially when the reminder serves as an invitation to be more mindful of what you think you know.
