Truly, one day religion will be regarded on the same level racism is today.
I don't see why it's not considered a hate crime now. When I was a christian I went to my neice's baby dedication as her godmother. The pastor told my sister, "No matter how cute she is, remember she's still a sinner."
The very nature of christianity or any evangelical religion makes it impossible for them to truly respect other people's right to freedom of belief. That's a basic constitutional right. But they have to believe anyone who doesn't belieie what they believe is going to hell. How can they respect that?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.
Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Nietzsche isn't dead. How do I know he lives? He lives in my mind.
