I am not saying they lose the right to call themselves part of the human species, I am saying they lose some of the fundamental freedoms that constitute a fulfilled human life.

If you are oppressed through slavery then you cannot do those things, you may be killed otherwise, slaves are not autonomous, once again, I am not saying they are not biologically human and people is basically another word for human.
