Why care so much though? The way I see it, it doesn't effect your life any so if they want to believe in a 6,000 year old universe or whatever, then who cares?
But it does affect our lives when the "creation science bullshit brigade" tries and tries to get their anti-science crap taught alongside real science in our public schools. If they wanted to believe their bullshit and leave the rest of us the fuck alone, most of us would have no problem with them. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
