Evidently you do not know the difference between "evidence" and "proof". I suggest you look it up before you continue. It's evidence a man called "The Christ" existed in 33 A.D, but that evidence has all sorts of things that need to be researched. They are not even 100% certain the dating is accurate for FSM's sake! "The Christ" is a very ambiguous title, and it doesn't necessarily refer to Jesus. These are questions that need answering before you can go off on a tangent saying this somehow "proves" Jesus.

Apparently you didn't read the news release from Dr. Al-Hassan. "We have "EVIDENCE" to believe this cave was used by the followers of CHRIST." Read it again, and do not respond until you do.

What atheists claim and what atheism is are completely different matters. Atheism has existed longer than any religion. The only way atheism can ever fail is if you can prove 100% empirically that a God exists. It is no consolation if a man called Jesus turns out to have existed, because unless you can prove that what was written about him was what actually happened, atheism still holds.

I have met thousands of atheists that have made statements that 'JESUS DID NOT EXIST BECAUSE HE WAS INVENTED BY THE GOSPELS DECADES AFTER HE SUPPOSEDLY LIVED." Atheists come right out and admit Jesus didn't exist, but now we know that is sheer and total nonsense because we are discovering caves where Jesus' followers worshipped him long before the N.T was written.

Dr. Al-Hassan the Jordanian archaeologist has the evidence. Evidence that Jesus existed has been discovered. Now, round two, proving he performed miracles.
