Lost him last year, unfortunately.
My grandparents lost their cat last year as well. His name was Leo and he would always jump up on the couch and sit with me when I went to visit. It was incredibly sad because during his final couple of months, he was struggling to walk and was visibly in pain. He had lost a load of weight as well, to put it bluntly he was wasting away. So they made the tough of decision of getting him put down.
At least he isn't suffering anymore.
