A message to a friend:
To be honest, I never understood why you had a crush on me: you are sweet, genuine, kind, intelligent, and on top of all of that, you are stunningly beautiful inside and out. Perhaps you prefer Spock over Kirk? Regardless of the reason, I want to say that during my time at L&T, meeting you was probably the best thing that happened to me. You taught me that there’s more to work than just doing a job, being professional, and then going home: if we want to grow as individuals and maximize results for our organization, then we’ve got to reach out to our fellow coworkers and establish meaningful connections with them.
On that note, I hope your endeavors in make-up artistry are going well. When you described the color wheel to me and how that is used to do make-overs, I must say that I was impressed: you have an exceptional gift; everyone agrees that you are a remarkable make-up artist. More importantly, every makeover you do gives people a sense of empowerment that you might not be fully aware of: any insecurities that your customers had prior to the makeover are replaced with the feeling that they are beautiful, and this beauty has the power to gravitate outward into their professional and personal lives and touch those people who are special to them. Make up artistry is what makes you unique, so please never feel that you are beneath other professions. In my eyes, I will always think of you as a leader among queens. Please take care of yourself, and I wish you well on your path toward success, happiness, and fulfillment.
