And definitely, the majority of pro-independence voters want Scotland to remain in the EU.
How would that work? Would a vote for independence nullify the Brexit vote for Scotland as far as the EU is concerned, or would Scotland have to apply for admission to the EU after severing ties with the UK?
I would imagine it's the latter as Scotland would identify as its own new sovereign nation and would need to apply for entrance to EU. Either way it goes it's messy.
