Of course they are. They're also responsible for their own postings here, and when such posts are clearly aimed at inflicting hurt rather than insight, then folks like myself and others are quite right to ask the forum's management to enforce the (now-changed) rules. That doesn't change my opinion that driving others off is in itself a negative influence. The only change is that the rules have been modified to accommodate such behavior. Make sure you don't reveal too much personally, because if someone decides to use it against you, they have free-play to do so.
People are certainly responsible for their own feelings. But pretending that such feelings cannot be instigated by others is silly. Since the forum's management sees fit to permit victim-blaming in the name of free speech -- laudable as that justification is -- they must also accept more coarseness in the discourse, including others firing back hoping to run off the cunts.
