CIJS - "Anxiety"
I find this term is becoming overused and thrown around too liberally. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, there's genuine consistent social awkwardness, even to the point where some people feel scared to leave the house. That's real.
However, I see some people throwing this term "anxiety" around and, tbh, I think it's an excuse. It's funny how it's "anxiety" when you want a reason to skip college, smoke weed or weasel your way out of doing chores, but then you're cool to travel across the country alone and get smashed with people you barely know at parties. Anxiety, You? Nonononono hanini you're conniving.
Just remember doing that delegitimises the term for the genuinely afflicted and makes it harder for people to take them seriously too. Well done.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
