Second: I don't know if more difficult, but I have an observation. I used to have a friend who was soooo much better looking than me. She's taller, thinner, and has a "babe" thing going for her. She's just model material, really. We were hanging out one day and she made an observation. She was talking about a dude that had tried to date me in the last few weeks and said something like,"I don't get it. There's cute Ivy, then there's me. Why do men go for cute when they can get hot?" No joke. She said that. Lol! It's not the fact that she's hot that makes her undesirable, it's the "stud" thing. Being a bitch. That kills it. You can be hawt as fuck and be undesirable. You can be average, but very attractive. It's the way you carry yourself that will determine how people feel towards you. Everybody looks at a hot person with lust, but when it comes to a romantic relationship as you say, there's more to it.
Now... if you can be hawt as fuck, have all that swag, and charisma... dang.
I appreciate your thoughtful response. I'm sorry that you had that experience with your friend: IMO, sometimes people can be totally blind to the fact that they are being jerks/insensitive to others (I'm guilty as charged here).
With that said, I enjoyed the wisdom that you shared in your post. I think that what you said about how one carries himself or herself has broader applications to how successful we are as people. IMO, image is not enough: who we are underneath will show through our actions, and IMO, this makes a difference in determining the level of constructive impact that people will have on the world around them.
P.S. As to the part in bold, I've always been more of a Mr. Spock type of guy: I'm a nerd at heart; therefore, a nerd I shall always be
You caught my spelling error! Thanks
