From a Taoist perspective, water could be considered perfect. It is soft and yielding, able to adapt to any twists and turns in its flow. There may be a slight interruption in its flow, but it will always flow wherever comes next naturally, even if that is not the original path it was on. Its formlessness allows it to adapt to almost any situation, and therefore it is perfect. Taoism says a lot about nature in similar veins, but water is the most frequently discussed aspect of nature. In order to achieve maximum pleasure from the universe, we have to flow, like water does, as naturally as possible.

Wow, I found that inspiring, Taoism is worth the effort.

Water can be compared to many things and it can work in harmony with many things to go with the flow in reality.  It's all one big whole isn't it ?
