For me it's all about the steel cut oatmeal loaded with fruit and nuts every morning. Not only gives me energy to go to 1 or 2 in the afternoon if need be, but also keeps me very regular and cleaned out feeling. Never thought about needing fiber to balance fruit but that's what I've been doing for going on three years now and it hasn't gotten old because of the seasonality of the fruit.
