Abraham murdered his own son, Issac, as a sacrifice to god.
They say he stopped at the last second as an angel appeared and stopped the sacrifice.
You never hear of Issac ever again though.
Of course, it is all just a fictional story.

Jephthah actually did go through with sacrificing his only daughter in the bible. Christians don't like to accept that magic book condones human sacrifice so they hand wave it as Old Testament etc. Then you point out that the very same Jephthah is lauded in the NT for his faith...
