Let's face it when it comes to Catholics except for kneeling in Church or spending your life in a cave on your knees everything else seems to be sinful, therefore not allowed - you know the Sin of omission.
I mean so many Christians on this forum are wasting their time and money when they could be helping hobos. Are not human beings more important then writing messages on internet how Trump and his supporters are being persecuted?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
