Sure, but for every racist conservative you find, there's multiple non-racist ones. It's a false equivocation to say that conservatives are racists. What is more accurate is that some conservatives are racist, or perhaps that most racists are conservative.
I would say that conservatism lends itself to racism. It is a political ideology that looks back to a mythical golden age* where the espousers were the masters with everybody else below them. To call conservatism racist is far mor valid than calling socialism fascist.
*These days it is tinged with a classical liberal economic policy, most likely because of Joseph Chamberlain's Liberal Unionists.
