Even if your book didn’t need reinterpretation to say what you think it should say, so what? What if you are able to convince us that the Quran does not condone slavery and/or “sexing up” slaves? What then? What do you hope to achieve with us by demonstrating that your book does indeed say what you believe it to says? What’s written inside the book can’t speak to the validity of the book itself, as you’ve been told over, and over, and over....so, what’s the point of all of this?
