People like me...

My my.... What an insightful person you are. You know ALL about me - and by nothing more than the fact that I favor gun rights.

Of course I don't 'know all about you', just what you've said - that even though you carry a knife, you have a gun in your other pocket.  This smacks of fear.  If there were fewer crazies with guns roaming around, maybe you wouldn't be so fearful.

 

How exactly are you planning to shatter someone' s knee? Do you know how much force that takes? Have you ever broke someone' s knee - or had your' s broken? 

It takes something less than 100 psi to disable the knee joint.  Most people can punch or kick that hard.  No, I've never broken someone's knee, but I have broken someone's femur, which takes considerably more force.

 

I have had mine broken. I know what' s involved. I seriously doubt I could break someone' s knee without a large hamner and a victim who was willing to stand still.

Sorry about your injury.  Yes, you are likely strong enough to break someone's knee without a hammer.

 

I guess I' m not the badass you are.

It isn't so much badassery as not minding.

Well fortunately - you ain't the one deciding who can carry a gun. The state gave me my permit 17 years ago. I have carried a concealed pistol nearly every day since - and had zero problems. My neighbors, friends and family all know I carry - and don' t have a problem with it. They shouldn' t. - most of them have carry permits as well - and surprise, suprise - they haven' t had problems either. Many in law enforcement know I carry daily as well - and gee - they don' t have a problem with it  and frequent my place to visit, show off their latest gun- or have me work on their stuff.

I' m a fucking cripple - but I' m gonna chase somebody down and break their legs..
