Also that the bone marrow of the rib bone is an excellent source of multipotent stem cells. And yes, I know that they are not pluripotent.
Grow only partially back, and only if the bone is not totally removed. Under a slightly different set of "right" circumstances, other bones can be made to grow partially back too.
