The point is that the majority of muslims believe death is the correct punishment for apostasy, according to the Quran. A fact you conveniently deny.

Where do scholars derive their authority from?

From dozens of years studying Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic law, tafsir', Hadith studies, Quranic studies, advanced arabic grammar, and more.

...and who gave them their certificate of being *correct*? Other scholars? And those got theirs from...?

Yet both of you claim to be muslims, yet both of you claim to have *the truth* and the other being wrong.

So, who is right? You? Atlass? Your scholars? Atlass´scholars? Why?

Until we work this out, just look up what our scholars say about "killing people".
