The invasion of the Iberian peninsula happened around 725 CE and the first sieges of Constantinople occurred around the same time.
There was also an Islamic invasion of France at about the same time.
These are instances of Islamic aggression that occurred centuries before the Crusades, so I don't understand any assertions about the eventual conquest of Constantinople being in response to the Crusades.
