Basic rule of thumb. If the the party has supporters marching carrying swastikas, they are the bad guys.
So if two morons show up in SS uniforms - the whole party supports NAZIs....
Good to know.
That broad brush of yours sure covers well....
If you are going to bring up German history, you should understand how stupid this sounds.
Far too many people only think about Hitler after he became famous, after he became a dictator. There was a time prior when he was a no name. There was a time before they called themselves Nazis, that Hitler after WW1 in the 20s started raising his voice, just in beer halls when he had no power. There also was a time when Jim Jones, Marshal Applewhite and Charles Manson were not famous. But all of them rose to power by selling a utopia, that lead to minions who did their dirty work.
It isn't a matter of "only two, so therefor". It is a matter not letting the weeds grow.
Trump did not flat out denounce David Duke. Trump did not flat out condemn the Obama Birther bullshit, but perpetuated it. Trump did not flat out condemn the Charlottesville KKK, Neo Nazis shouting, "Jews will not replace us". Trump started his campaign calling Mexicans rapists, vilified black NFL players. And never let up on that his entire term.
All the monsters in human history start out as unknown babies that come out of a vagina like you and I do. Hitler was not famous when he was born. Stalin was not famous when he was born. Trump's dad was rich, but Trump himself, was not famous when he was born.
Trump ran for two reasons. #1 his own fragile ego. #2 Trump saw it as a way to avoid impending legal trouble which he was facing before he ran. And he and his family in any case, have had a long history of racism. His dad was sued in the 70s for refusing to rent to minorities. Trump put out a full page add in the 80s calling for the death penalty for the "Central Park 5", black men who turned out all to be innocent.
It isn't just "a couple of" in the case of this failed insurrection. Your failure to understand this, will only allow the mindset of that "couple of" to fester and grow.
