I mentioned this earlier in this thread. I am concerned with all this new safety accident avoiding technology. Again, I think it is more intended for low speed events, like backing out of your driveway and avoiding running over a kid, or avoiding hitting someone in a traffic jam, or leaving a parking space. I don't think it works as well as of yet, for higher speeds. Even without ABS speed still would have been a factor in this case.
